Uploading large or multiple audio files
When attempting to upload very large files or multiple files for a single ticket, time spent for this process will be directly affected by the speed of your internet connection.
Upload speed refers to how many megabits of data per second you can send information from your computer to another device or server on the internet.
When uploading a transcription request, we need data to travel in the opposite direction.
In general, upstream speeds of 10 Mbps are considered good upload speeds, though, you may need higher upload speeds if you are planning to upload several audio files, or an audio file consisting of several hours of interview recordings.
You can find out what your internet upload speed is and measure your download speed by using a free internet speed test. A speed test will measure both upload and download rates. Click here▸ to measure your internet speed
